“Should I kill myself, or have a cup of coffee?”
We all have our good days and then there are those days. I’ve found that whenever I feel overpowered by something, someone or just the thoughts inside my internal space, a sip of good coffee, tea or whisky will help me stay level. Finding joy in small things is what I enjoy and cherish. May it be the first flowers of spring, the pink edge of an evening cloud or a song of a morning bird – Breathe, taste, relax and enjoy.
“Albert Camus was an Algerian-born French author, philosopher, and journalist who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957. He is often cited as a proponent of existentialism (the philosophy that he was associated with during his own lifetime), but Camus himself rejected this particular label. Specifically, his views contributed to the rise of the more current philosophy known as absurdism. He wrote in his essay The Rebel that his whole life was devoted to opposing the philosophy of nihilism while still delving deeply into individual freedom.” –Goodreads
